Erika O. Martinez for Zapata County Constable, Precinct 3
I, Erika Martinez, have filed all the necessary paperwork to run for the office of Constable, Precinct #3, Zapata County. I have been living in Zapata the majority of my life and have been a resident of Precinct #3 for the last decade. I have been employed by the County of Zapata for the last 18 years and a licensed peace officer for all but one of those years. For 17 1/2 years I served my community as a Zapata County Sheriff’s Deputy. I had several assignments while working as a Sergeant that include working on patrol and serving warrants for criminal and civil matters. As someone who has been on patrol of this county, I know exactly what Precinct #3 needs to be served and protected. Earlier this year I took a job as an officer for the Zapata County Attorney’s Office. I humbly ask for your vote so that I may further serve my community, my precinct, and the citizens of Zapata County.
