Speaking of taxes, if you need help filing, VITA will be available at the Zapata County Library on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 2:30 till 5:30 p.m. This is for people who make under $57,000. per year, or are disabled, elderly or have limited English skills. Note, these are trained persons with VITA “not” the Library staff. This free service may be starting this Tuesday, March 23.

The Library is making plans to open to the public again on April 6, with regular hours as before. Until then, free books are still available from the portable shelves at the front door – enjoy, stay healthy and safe.
