Local Sector Border Patrol Provides School Supplies to the Community

USCBP | August 11, 2017

On August 10, 2017, Border Patrol agents from the Zapata Station donated school supplies to over 100 children from the Zapata County Independent School District.  The school supplies were purchased by Border Patrol agents to assist kids in making sure they are ready for the new school year.

Additionally, on the same day, Border Patrol agents from the Laredo North Station handed out school supplies to over 50 kids at the Fasken Recreation Center.  The school supplies provided in both events included notebooks, binders, rulers, crayons, scissors, markers, glue and composition books.

These events are just one of many contributions the Laredo Sector Border Patrol participates in to support the community they have sworn to protect.
