Tax season is here!
For the second year, Laredo Community College will host free income tax preparation sessions for individuals or families with incomes of $66,000 or less, thanks to its partnership with the Internal Revenue Service Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, or VITA.
The tax preparation sessions will be offered at the Fort McIntosh Campus on Tuesdays and Thursdays, January 23 through April 12, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. in the Eloy Garcia Building, room 130. Services will also be available at the South Campus on Saturdays, beginning February 3 through April 14 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Academic Advanced Technology Center, room 235.
IRS-certified volunteers will offer assistance in English and Spanish during the tax preparation sessions.
