Events Calendar

This event is open to the public and is being hosted by Laredo Community College (LCC) and the Zapata County Independent School District (ZCISD).  The education and career fair will be held at the Zapata Technical and Advanced Education Center (ZTAC) in Zapata, Texas from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.

Information on various educational programs provided by LCC will be presented as well as training programs for career oriented fields such as pharmacy technician, substitute teaching, and workplace safety.  For more information, visit the LCC website, or contact the Adult Education and Literacy Department at (956) 794-4436.

National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.  See this event listing for more information.   Turn in your unused or expired prescription medication for safe disposal.  This event is hosted by the Zapata County Community Coalition and will be held on Saturday, April 29th from 10 am to 2 pm at the Zapata County Courthouse.
